The human body is designed for natural exercise. If exercise can be approached as natural as brushing your teeth, it will not be perceived as a chore.

Hours at the gym are unnecessary. Increasing daily activities such as taking the stairs instead of taking the elevator, walking instead of driving etc. will render positive health impacts.



How often – It is important to exercise daily Determine what is the best time of the day to exercise and make it a part of you routine.

How hard – To lose weight it is recommended to exercise at a lower intensity for a longer period of time. (You should be able to talk while you are exercising)

How long – A minimum of 30 minutes of aerobic/endurance exercise daily and it may be divided into spurts (i.e. 3 ten minute walks) if you have never exercised before begin with 1-5 min of an activity and gradually increase the amount of time you exercise every week.

What type of exercise – Choose an activity you enjoy.

Try Rhythmic activities that use large muscles (biking, walking, aerobics, swimming…) tone many muscles and increase heart rate at the same time.

Try new activities you’ve always wanted to try (rollerblading, rock climbing body bordering etc…)
